“Wild, hard, maar ook hartelijk.” - 3voor12 Groningen
“Anger and anxiety can serve as a launchpad for recognition far beyond their home turf.” - Here Comes the Flood
Creativity, vulnerability, dedication, comradery: these are the values that drive Slumbercloud, a power trio from Groningen, Netherlands.
For Slumbercloud, genre is a moving target; their music is playful but aggressive, loud yet dynamically diverse, harsh and beautiful in the same breath. Born as a heavily grunge/punk-influenced project, now morphed into an inimitable mix of metal, grunge, noise rock and ambient post-rock, the band defines themselves anew with their debut full-length, SLC, released on November 8, 2024.
